New Life for a Ranch Home

Wexford Bathroom update - Tulsa OK

The master bathroom in a traditional home in South Tulsa was recently updated to remove 1990's elements such as bathroom carpet, floral wallpaper and visible cabinet hinges.  The carpet was replaced with a neutral matte tile.  The shower walls were tiled with a polished version of the floor tiles.  The shower was expanded by incorporating part of the tub surround as a shower bench.  A frameless shower also gives an expanded look to the shower.  The result is an updated a new retreat for the homeowners.

Living room remodel and outdoor kitchen addition to home in Midtown Tulsa OK.  Reflects the treasures collected overseas by the homeowners.  

Dark and Light Harmony

A 1980's kitchen was remodeled to update cabinets, countertops, flooring and appliances by using both light and dark elements.  The updates give the new kitchen a seamless flow with the adjoining Family Room and highlights the outdoor patio and swimming pool. 

Family Country Retreat

As functional as it is beautiful

This kitchen was updated to meet the demands of a family with 4 active children.  The expanded island provides space for family dinners, home school lessons and daily bread making. By retaining the cabinet boxes and adding new cabinet doors, the high-end look was achieved within a reasonable budget. A new 90" island, addition of quartz countertops, subway tile backsplash, white paint, new hardware and re-finished and lightened floors makes the kitchen ready for many family activities.

Restful Haven

The owner of a condominium in a luxury high rise building was looking for a peaceful retreat in the main bedroom.  The owner was highly involved in the collaboration to create an updated room that seamlessly flows with the tasteful decor of the home.

Mid-Century Condo

High in the sky is a mid-century remodel of a traditional condo.  The remodel includes Barcelona Chairs and a custom made area rug in the sitting area to mimic the fabric in the living room chairs.  Artwork is from the owners' private collection reflecting their love of art and travel. The wall fireplace adds a touch of warmth. The office/TV room features two Eames Lounge Chairs.

Utica Square bath update

A bathroom formerly used by three boys was updated to serve as a couple's guest bath room.  The goal of the update was to be fresh yet pay tribute to the 1930's home original architecture.

Bolewood Estates

An active couple living in the peaceful and prestigious Bolewood Estates area of Tulsa OK were wanting to increase the functionality of their living and family rooms, as well as update the dining room.

In the family room the goals were to give a better view of the lovely pool and garden area as well as make the room more intimate and functional for conversation and watching television.  Replacing the seating at either end of the room with a sectional sofa and a fun “lamb fabric” chair accomplished this goal.

The living room had been serving as an office for two.  One desk was re-configured into a wall unit desk.  The remaining portion of the room was transformed into a seating area, perfect for morning coffee and visiting.  The previous red walls were painted a soft gray.  Pieces from the homeowners' art collection were placed to have the most impact.

The focus piece of the dining room is a family heirloom buffet.  The piece was carefully cleaned and a granite top was installed. The addition of custom parson chairs and coordinating chair seats were used to update the dining table seating.  A new chandelier is the “jewelry”.
